Community Services Specialist
High impact position, working directly with community members to provide assistance and
make a difference. Assists individuals and families through intake and assessment processes for
energy assistance and related community programs. Requires extended interaction with people of
all backgrounds, some in crisis, who are seeking support. Requires skills in data entry and file
management, as programs are State and Federal. Comfort with communications and interactions
with customers through email, over the phone, in a ticket management system, and through
traditional mail.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred; Or a combination of
education with experience working in a human service agency.
Experience in customer service or community relations
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
