Family Development and Self Sufficiency (FaDSS) Director

• Pay: $51,126-$52,405
• Full or part time: Full-Time/Exempt
• Location: Davenport, Iowa Travel is required to observe staff and meet with clients in program’s service area (Scott, Clinton, Cedar, Muscatine)

Community Action of Eastern Iowa is seeking dedicated leaders with supervisory social work experience to lead its Family Development and Self-Sufficiency (FaDSS) program. Director will provide oversight and direction for staff that provide high quality, compassionate services for families with limited income. Position will oversee budget, manage federal grant, lead staff training and development, build partnerships in the community, and assure quality, confidential record keeping.

•A bachelor’s degree and two years of experience working in the health, human services, or education field

• An associate’s degree and four years of experience working in the health human services, or education field

• Other combination of education and experience AND a waiver granted by State Staff

• Family Development Supervisor Training Certificate obtained within 2 years from the date of hire for individuals with fewer than 2 years supervisory experience
