Family Development and Self-Sufficiency Lead Specialist

Community Action of Eastern Iowa is seeking a dynamic leader with social work
experience to join our Family Development and Self-Sufficiency (FaDSS) team.
The Lead Specialist carries a reduced case load, directly serving families.
Position will offer direct support to the FaDSS Director in implementing trainings
and mentorship for Specialists, reviewing files, attending community meetings,
stewarding partnerships, assigning referral cases, and strategically collaborating
on program implementation and success. FaDSS team members assure quality,
confidential record keeping at all times.


Minimum Level of Education/Experience Required
Associates/bachelor’s degree in social work or other human services field with
case management and supervision experience.
