IQ4K Specialist
Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) of Southeast Iowa is seeking qualified applicants for
the IQ4K Specialist position. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the quality of early
care and education by providing training, consultation, and technical assistance to child care centers and
child care homes, with a focus on the IQ4K system. This role also offers the chance to support and
strengthen the work of consultants, helping expand high-quality child care services for children and
families across Southeast Iowa.
The IQ4K Specialist position requires a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education
with an early childhood endorsement, Child and Family Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely
related field. The ability to speak Spanish, or a language other than English, is a plus. A minimum of two
years of experience working with QRS/IQ4K is preferred.

In this role, you will: - Assist interested programs in applying for an IQ4K rating through a continuous quality
improvement (CQI) process. - Recruit and encourage participation from all registered and licensed child care programs.
- Provide ongoing training and support to team members to build IQ4K content knowledge and
strengthen effective, efficient technical assistance to child care programs. - Ensure IQ4K resources and information are readily available to all staff.
- Participate in the statewide IQ4K team to support the continued growth of IQ4K throughout
Iowa. - Submit complete and accurate IQ4K applications to HHS for review.
