Lead Community Services Specialist
Responsible for reviewing and processing customer assistance payments, ensuring compliance with program guidelines, and providing quality assurance support for Community Services programs. Serves as a resource for staff by providing guidance, training, and eligibility support. Reviews applications, analyzes program data, prepares reports, and maintains relationships with community partners and vendors. Assists with LIHEAP program operations, customer service, and department projects to support effective program delivery and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in community relations, customer service, or human services programs preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
